Jack update # 2

Hello Everyone!!!  So today more then ever in last 6 weeks are so I'm counting down our days!!!  This coming Friday we head to London again for Jack.  Our fingers have been crossed for a few days now and Chris has told me that he prays every night for him.  (love it!)  I to have been praying like crazy as well!  And Jack, well he has been great though this all, which surprises me everyday!!!  (he does have his moments, but what 2 1/2 year old doesn't, hahaha)  I will get a great picture of this cast for you (coming soon) Its the best cast ever, our family fav, CAMOFLOUGE.  What would be a better fit,  LOL!

And while I have been inside alot this summer and became garden lazy these favorite things of mine showed there true colours.  I so did not love and cherish them this summer :(
Although Chris came in many of nights with a bouquet of flowers for me!  How loving his he!!!  It meant so much!!!

(To a dear friend Alyshia, this is for you!)

After how many years these finally bloomed amazingly. And a few were huge!!!  I transplanted these 4/5 years ago!

My mom loves this colour of hollyhock.  She said that she has never seen this colour.  But they change colour every growing season. You never know what your going to get!

These hocks grow pretty tall this year, even after the cold weather we got that stunted everything else.  I also thought that I pulled these all out of my garden, but they started growing late, and for once they were not taken over by a mildew or any other bug.  They have staying very healthy!

Well that's it for now,

Until then,  Kendall     oxox

The past month or so?

Hello to the winding down of the weekend, and the beginning of a NEW week!   Yesterday I mentioned that we had been up to a lot of things.  So here's just some of it.

Sporting some new toes after a visit with my Mother.  (me and mom time is always great!!!)

Here are the baskets that I created from all my Mothers Day flowers.  I made up four altogether, which hang at our back doorways.

And more Mothers Day flowers!

Up close and personal.

At the side of our patio are my beloved flowers the Peony.  They came out in full bloom last week.  A week and a half is about all I get of these lovelies.
Walking up to our back door smells great!!!

More flowers out in bloom!

What I have planted in my front urn.

About Four weeks ago we put up our pool.  Just a bit crazy considering we had to have a fire going in our house again in JUNE!!! To keep our little tozzies warm.  YES you read that right!!!   (but then again were not the only ones with crazy weather)  But over the long weekend in May the kids were swimming in the pool, to cold for me!!!  I believe it was 62.  But the kids loved it!!!
Got ta love June Bugs!!!  These little guys were taking a dip too, hahaha

Having a blast!!!

So this is the colour that I chose for painting the outside of our house.  But before I could finish the job I started I had to put up some new ceder shingles.  My goal was to have this done by the time Chris got home from his Fishing Trip.  With only a couple hours to spare.....

This is how it turned out.  I LOVE IT!!!  i was a few shingles short :(
But looks so much better then before!
But when it poors rain you can see all my paint drippings,LOL.  Although in good weather it blends right in, LOL!

The hearts still there only because there was about twenty nails holding it there, and I was a weakling.  So I guess I'm on the hunt for something else, yes, no???
What about a pair of antlers?????

Until then,  Kendall     oxox

The Peony.

I now have some more colour in my garden these days.  My peonies have bloomed but they don't last to long:(  They are my fav! This here is our back deck. That's what we call it.Its a big slab of concrete. My Peonies all across the one side.  When they are in bloom I love it!

This is where I go to enjoy my coffee on nice mornings before the kids wake up.  The furniture is one of a kind.  Chris made it for us.  Can you believe that!  He really did.  He's extremely smart when it comes to building things or fixing things whether it has a motor or not he can do it all!

This is our veggie garden that we planted a bit to late, but then again it was cold when it should have been warm and it rained for days on end. Night and day!!!  After all the rain it was then cold again. Now most of our garden has taken off but there are a few things that never started growing :(

I wish that I could remember the name of these Peonies.
These are planted in my big flower bed beside Chris's Shop.

This bush flowered for the first this year!!  Yay!!  There was 3 & 4 blooms per stem! Crazy.  Next year I'll be putting hoops around them so there not dropping to the ground when they all come out in bloom. When they are in full bloom there just like one big puff ball.

Can't wait till next year when there in full bloom again!!!
 Have a great day!!!

How does your Garden grow???

Welcome!!! For those who can't be here in person here are some pictures of my gardens.  These are a bit out of date! Taken about a mouth and a half ago, maybe longer. ( seeing as we just figured out how to up load pics from the iPhone) LOL!
My shad bed under the ceders. And yes as you can see I had some weeding still to do! (the top of the pic)  I'm in love with Hostas!!!
My pathway I made all on my own, even the stones!  With our cement mixer, a pill sand, a truck load of gravel, 10 bags of cement power/dust what ever you want to call it, two shovels, a pail, mold, and alot of energy and hard work. This is what you get.
Oh yes and on last thing, the shed in the back drop will be my shop in the future!!!
The back drop here is Chris's shop, which he LOVES!!! and so do all the guys, lol!

The Wrought Iron furniture you see there on our deck, Well Chris built that. He so so talented!!! He can do anything!!!
Our lane, We LOVE it!!!

I have some more up to date pics to come!   Have a Great Day!!!!!
